Song of the Week – Cochise
Today’s Song of the Week is brought to you more for its video than for the song itself. I thought it would be appropriate since today is American Independence Day. You will see what I mean when you see the video; it’s basically a 4th of July celebration with a song…a decent song at that. This is Cochise by Audioslave, released in 2002…Damn it’s been that long? Enjoy!

Great pic. Perfect video for today!
I don’t even want to count how many times I saw someone post up “4th of July” by Soundgarden today on my Facebook wall….. It’s not really about the 4th.
Anyways have a fun filled day of burger beer and blowing shit up!!! Peace Love and Metal!!! America! Fuck Yeah!!!!!
I am not even aware Soundgarden recorded such a song, so it’s a hell of a coincidence that Audioslave features their former vocalist. I dig the fireworks show. I havent been to a good fireworks show in a while, they do it here, but it takes like 2 hours to get out of there and it doesn’t start till after 10pm. My kids would never headle that. Maybe next year in the states we can catch a fireworls display.
