Song of the Week – You Give Love A Bad Name

I was at a loss for picking today’s Song of the Week.  I decided to let my iTunes DJ make the selection by playing the first song that popped up which was Bon Jovi’s classic.  Also, I was working out with the wife today (take your mind out of the gutter) and offered to make her a motivational playlist with her music library.  She told me her only requirement was to have You Give Love A Bad Name on the list.  It was an interesting coincidence (I thought), so here it is!  Where do you stand with Bon Jovi?  Are you the metalhead of today or do you reach back to some of those 80s classics that had huge impact?

  1. This is a good song! I like Bon Jovi still, their music was a big, big favourite of mine in the 90’s when I was 12-15 years old. Some good memories 😀
But I have to admit, I don’t listen much to other classics..

  2. I really like the 80s Rock, but not especially Bon Jovi. But this is certainly a good song.

  3. My wife approves of this post! And so do I! While I do reach back for the classics often, Bon Jovi only really gets played in my home when it’s my wife’s turn to pick the music. But I never have any complaints when it comes to Mr. Bongiovani.

I saw him last year in Italy and damn does he put on a hell of a show.

  4. Yeah, this is definitely household approved. I hope to catch Bob Jovi again maybe in Denver and make it a family affair; my kids like them too 😉

  5. German GEMA also prohibit watching this video. “Fuck this shit I’m so sick of it, going down this is a war” (To quote some random lines coming into my mind” 😉 )
